Preserve The Neapolitan Tradition
The Tradition of Neapolitan Brick Ovens Preserved
Acunto Napoli has been synonymous with quality wood fired ovens since 1892. Over four generations of the Acunto family have built these traditional brick ovens by hand in their Naples workshop, preserving the family secrets of their trade and fiercely protecting the tradition of Neapolitan pizza.
Acunto wood fired ovens have been the preferred choice of the oldest and most illustrious pizzerias and pizzaiolo in Naples for decades. Currently based in their workshop founded by Vincenzo Acunto in downtown Naples, their dedicated team of artisans builds their wood and gas fired ovens with bricks and refractory material from Neapolitan soil.
Although there are many oven builders that attempt to emulate the appearance and baking style of the Acunto oven, none surpass the Acunto's incredible heat retention/insulation, stability against cracking and attention to detail that has preserved their style of construction for over a century. Each Acunto oven is a piece of art and can last for lifetimes if cared for properly.
